OpenClaw Calendar and Email is an integration developed by Mountain View Development that provides authorized AI agents with read-only access to Google Workspace email (Gmail) and Google Calendar. It enables user-authorized assistants to retrieve schedule availability and search or summarize messages on demand without human intervention or permanent data storage.

2. Google Workspace Scopes & Data Accessed

The application requests only the minimum necessary read-only permissions via Google OAuth 2.0:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly: Used solely to read email messages, message headers, labels, and thread metadata as requested by the user during active sessions.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly: Used solely to read calendar entries, event schedules, and meeting details to answer user schedule queries.

Strict Read-Only Guarantee: The application never sends, drafts, edits, or deletes emails, and never creates, modifies, or deletes calendar entries.

User data accessed from Google Workspace APIs is NEVER used to train, retrain, or fine-tune general artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or large language models (LLMs). Data provided to an AI agent is utilized solely as real-time context for answering the immediate query and is not retained or absorbed into model weights.

5. Data Storage, Retention & Security

We maintain zero long-term retention of your email content or calendar records. Data is processed transiently in memory during active query execution and discarded immediately after. Authentication tokens are securely encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.

6. No Data Sale & Human Access Restrictions

We never sell, rent, or monetize your data. No human employees or contractors inspect your emails or calendars, unless you explicitly request customer support assistance for a specific issue or as strictly required by law.

7. User Control & Revoking Access

You can revoke access to OpenClaw Calendar and Email at any time via your Google Account Security Settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also contact us at hello@mtnview.dev to request immediate removal of any stored authentication records.
